Comedy for Peace performed at a sold-out show at the JCC in Central New Jersey and they did not disappoint! The laughter was loud and long lasting. The comedians weaved inclusive humor that resonated with everyone from 50 – 90 years of age. Their interactive elements added a unique charm, engaging the audience throughout. Furthermore, the clean comedy showcased the comedian’s wit without compromising on entertainment. Hosting the Comedy For Peace event was an extraordinary experience for our community. One of the most powerful aspects of this event was its ability to unite individuals from different communities. By hosting the show at a local comedy club, we created a neutral, welcoming space that encouraged people from outside our community to join us.

In fact, the connections we formed during Comedy For Peace have already begun to bear fruit. We recently had an incredibly meaningful meeting with a mosque just down the street from our JCC—a meeting that was made possible by the relationships we started building that evening.
